Elected at the 2020 AGM, new Club Chairman Bob Conway promises to bring a “Borders-style no-nonsense” approach to the role.
Message from Club Chairman
First of all I wish to thank my predecessor Martin Kenny, who recently stepped down after 12+ years of service to Bannockburn RFC, for his unmatched dedication.
Martin has left some big shoes to fill, but I hope I can pick up where he left off in driving the club forward. We have a strong team behind the scenes, and I want us to reach new heights.
I believe the common goals and foundations are already in place for us to progress, thanks to the work of Martin and the club’s volunteers and committee members over the last few years.
There’s a lot of work still to be done. We have some big plans for the future, but these will come with time and your continued dedication.
That said, we need to support each other. We need to support our Juniors section, our Seniors team and the club’s social events as one club.
I hope to work closely with you all, and I’m sure we can really make our mark in Scottish Rugby and our local community alike.
Bob Conway, Club Chairman
